Brock

Don and Sharon Brock, Linwood, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception from 2-4 p.m. July 5, at the Leavenworth County Fairgrounds in Tonganoxie.
Don Brock and Sharon McDaniel were married July 3, 1958, in Reno.
Don graduated from Linwood High School in 1959. He worked 33 years for Lone Star Cement and 10 years for Rural Water Management. Sharon was a homemaker. They are both retired and do missionary work with We Care Ministries.
They have six children: Kris Brock, Valley Falls; Brad Brock, Linwood; Glenn Brock, Pasadena, Texas; Darren Brock, Eudora; DeAnna Klamm, Clarksburg, Tenn.; and Dennis Brock, Kansas City, Kan.
They have 19 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The couple request no gifts.

Engagement

Alexander and Rosenbaum

Alyssa Jada Alexander and Kristopher Michael Rosenbaum, both of Wichita, Kan., announce their engagement.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Clyde and Lynn Alexander III, Edwardsville. She is a 2005 graduate of Bonner Springs High School and a hostess at Old Chicago Pizza.
The prospective groom is the son of Sue Rosenbaum and Homer Ossiander, Topeka, Kan. He is a 1995 graduate of Washburn Rural High School and the managing partner at Famous Dave's BBQ.
The couple plan a May 23, 2009, wedding in Topeka.

Horn and Forssberg

Jacquelyn Horn, Basehor, and Brandon Forssberg, Pratt, Kan., announce their engagement.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Stan and Karen Horn, Basehor. She is a 2008 graduate of Mid America Nazarene University and a 2001 graduate of Basehor-Linwood High School and is a registered nurse at Pratt Regional Medical Center.
The prospective groom is the son of Norman and Verneene Forssberg, Pratt. He is a 2008 graduate of Findlay University and is a physical therapist at Pratt Regional Medical Center.
The couple plan an Oct. 10, wedding in Olathe.
