University of Saint Mary Fine Arts and Theatre Department will present "Bedroom Farce," an adult comedy by Alan Ayckbourn.
Chaos erupts when a seemingly happy couple, Trevor and Susannah, begin airing their private grievances at a party held by friends, Malcolm and Kate. Trevor's parents, Earnest and Delia and two other love-birds, Nick and Jan, jump in the mix with their issues, and all must deal with the repercussions of making such oh-so-private gripes everybody's business.
"Bedroom Farce" premieres at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 17, with productions at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 18, and Saturday, Feb. 19.
The play will be held in Xavier Theatre, located on the southeast side of the University of Saint Mary Campus, 4100 South 4th Street, Leavenworth, Kan. Admission price is $10 for adults, $5 for students.
"Bedroom Farce" is a student-produced show directed by USM junior Patrick Weaver. Weaver was selected by his peers to direct the show. A multi-talented stage presence, Weaver has performed in every major University of Saint Mary production since his freshman year. This is his collegiate directorial debut.
Due to adult content and language, the show is not recommended for young children.
