Union Station will celebrate the grand opening of its new Dino Lab in Science City with a Dino Daze event from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday.
Dino Lab is billed as a real paleontology lab where scientists will be working while visitors can learn more about dinosaurs through various exhibits, including prehistoric digs, fossil casting, "Glove-o-saurus" puppet making, dino tales, "build-a-saurus" races, a maze, face painting and a sing-along.
General admission is $8.95 for adults and $6.95 for seniors and children ages 4-12, which includes the Dino Lab, Magic: The Science of Illusion and Can You Tell Me How to Get to Sesame Street? exhibits.
In addition, StoneLion Puppet will present "Dino Bones" at 2 p.m. Saturday at the H&R Block City Stage. Combination tickets for the general admission and the puppet show are $13.95 for adults and $9.95 for seniors and children.
