A Bonner Springs church is hoping to help out families in need as they prepare to go back to school.
The Olivet Church of God in Christ, 201 Springdale Ave., will have its sixth annual Back to School Giveaway from noon to 6:30 p.m., or while supplies last, on Aug. 10. School supplies will be provided for students pre-kindergarten through college. Children who attend must be accompanied by a parent or other adult.
