Kansas Law Enforcement Summer Games

The Kansas Law Enforcement Summer Games are scheduled for 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 13 at the Olathe District Activity Center, 20925 W. 159th St., Olathe. Members of the public are encouraged to attend. Planned events include an obstacle course, tug of war, cross-fit workout, bench press, relays and 1-mile run. The 100-meter dash will determine who is the fastest officer. In a reversal of roles from the annual Special Olympics games, Special Olympics athletes will present medals to law enforcement participants.
