The Johnson County Library will host a Latino Festival on Saturday, September 3 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Oak Park Neighborhood Library, 9500 Bluejacket, Overland Park, KS. The community is invited to attend and experience the Latin-American culture through art, music, poetry, dance and crafts. Highlights will include Marimba Sol De Chiapas, Ballet Folklórico de Kansas City, Pablo Sanhueza’s Salsa Trio, and OLE: Music and Dance of Spain. There will be an art display featuring Mauricio Zuñiga’s works, Latin American cultural tables and activities for children. The event is free and open to the public. No registration is necessary.
