The Bonner Springs Fire/EMS Departments’ Open House is set noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, at the fire station, 13001 Metropolitan. The event, in conjunction with National Fire Prevention Week, will include food, fire safety information, fire truck rides and a Life Star Helicopter landing.
