DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:The Basehor-Linwood USD 458 Parents as Teachers program will offer weekly fitness classes for parents and young children during the 2012-13 school year.\nThe PAT Fitness Fun Fridays workouts will be 9:30 to 10 a.m. each Friday during the school year\, with the exception of Dec. 21\, at Basehor Elementary School\, 15602 Leavenworoth Road. Participants should enter through the building’s northwest doors off Klamm Street.\nThe classes will allow parents to exercise along with their children 5 years old or younger\, with the goal of establishing healthy habits in the lives of parents and their children.\nThe program is free for all families. Participants should dress comfortably and bring a towel. The program will provide refillable water bottles to adults and children who participate.\nThe classes will be led by fitness instructor Jen Penegar\, and they are funded by a grant from the Kansas Health Foundation.
