Services for Bluebelle Lovena Harris are Thursday, Aug. 22, at Charter Funeral Home. The burial was at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. There was a visitation on Wednesday, Aug. 21, at Charter Funeral Home.
Mrs. Harris was born on May 21, 1925, in Edna, Kansas.
She retired in 1987 to Phoenix, Ariz., where she lived with her husband for 14 years before returning to the area in 2001.
Harris was a member of VFW Post 5851 Auxiliary, Prairie Dels EHU, and of White Church Christian Church. She was a NASCAR fan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Oran E. and Gladys E. Harvey; her sister, Darlene Walker; and her daughter, Patricia E. Morasch.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Bill Harris; children, William Ray Harris, Shawnee; Carolyn Chastain and husband, Larry Boone, Parkville; Kenny Harris and wife, Sharon, Basehor; Kristi Wiser and husband, Rickie, Basehor; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; brother, Ray Harvey and wife, Veneta, Basehor; sister-in-law, Boony Ayers, Kansas City; brother-in-law, Gene Walker, Kansas City; and six nieces and nephews.
