Services for Okie Mae Wells, 87, Basehor, are Thursday, June 20, at Quisenberry Funeral Home, Tonganoxie. Burial was in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Kansas City, Kan.

Mrs. Wells died Tuesday, June 18, at her residence.

She was born March 26, 1915, in Newton, MO. The daughter of Thomas and Mary Ann (Pruitt) Cox, she was a sales clerk for Leaders, Kansas City, Kan. and Bakers, Leavenworth. She attended Basehor United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Wells was preceded in death by her husband Chester E. Wells in 1965 and a son, Chester Wells Jr. in 1933.

Survivors include two daughters, Charlotte Robinson and her husband Bill, McLouth, Kan. and Audrey Moody and her husband Ross, Basehor; five grandchildren, Bill Robinson Jr., Andover, Kan., Karen Bailey and her husband Ralph, McLouth, Kan., Melinda Farr and her husband Tom, Oskaloosa, Kan., Ross A. Moody and Linwood, Craig Moody and his wife Annette, Valley Falls, Kan., and four great- grandchildren, Amanda and Ryan Bailey and McKinsey and Trinity Moody.

The family suggests memorials to American Heart Association, American Lung Association or Basehor United Methodist Church in care of Quisenberry Funeral Home, Box 993, Tonganoxie, KS, 66086.
