A couple of weeks ago, Paul Lackner came home and found that his daughter Kara, a senior at Basehor-Linwood High School, had moved the furniture out of her bedroom and was painting the walls orange. “I knew right away that if she was in there painting, she was staying home for college,” Paul Lackner said.
