Obit: laude V. Craig

Services for Claude V. Craig, 87, Bonner Springs, were May 7 at the First Christian Church of Bonner Springs. Burial followed in the Bonner Springs Cemetery, Bonner Springs.

Mr. Craig died May 3 at Providence Medical Center, Kansas City, Kan.

Claude served with the Army Engineers during WW II in both Europe and Japan.

He was married to his wife, Geneva, on Sept. 18, 1948. He retired from Thompson Strauss Quarries in 1976. He was a Bonner Springs resident and a member of the Church since 1955. He enjoyed helping in the community and church.

He was preceded in death by a son, Gary Craig, in 1966, and his first wife, Dorothy Fairbanks-Craig, in 1947.

Survivors include his wife, Geneva, of the home; one son, Arthur Craig and wife, Teresa, Wichita, Kan.; one brothers, Jim Craig and wife, Doris, of Nevada, Iowa; one sister, Wilma Bucklin, Newton, Iowa; and three grandchildren, Christy, Sarah and Tim Craig.

The family suggests memorials to the First Christian Church of Bonner Springs, 148 N. Nettleton, Bonner Springs, KS 66012.
