Basehor primary election results

Six candidates made the cut in Tuesday's primary and will advance to the general election April 1.

The six candidates are running for three open positions on the Basehor City Council.

Overall, 713 votes were cast during the primary election, Tuesday, Feb. 25.

The vote totals are below:

  • Iris Dysart, 119 votes or 16.69 percent
  • John Bonee, 98 votes or 13.74 percent
  • Joe Odle, 76 votes or 10.65 percent
  • Bill Hooker, 72 votes or 10.09 percent
  • Joe Hotujac, 72 votes or 10.09 percent
  • David Breuer, 66 votes or 9.25 percent
  • Steve Cole, 64 votes or 8.97 percent
  • Jerry Manford, 54 votes or 7.57 percent
  • Robert Harrison, 51 votes or 7.15 percent
  • Charles Povilonis, 28 votes or 3.92 percent
  • David Kalebaugh, 13 votes or 1.82 percent
