New drop locations for Sentinel

March 5, 2003

To help provide better and more complete news coverage for our readers in Basehor and Linwood, news items for publication in the Basehor Sentinel may now be submitted to locations in both cities.

The Basehor and Linwood community libraries have agreed to take submissions from readers, which would include items such as briefs, photographs, letters to the editor and news tips. The items can be dropped off at the libraries.

The items may either be placed in the overnight box or given to the clerk at the front desk of both locations. The drop boxes are for news items only; potential advertisers must contact the Sentinel office at (913) 724-1887.

The Basehor Community Library, 2812 N. 155th Street, is open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

The Linwood Community Library, 302 Main Street, is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday.

As the official newspaper of both cities, the Sentinel hopes the drop-off locations will be more convenient and help provide more complete coverage to our readers.
