Basehor chamber elects new officers for 2004
The Basehor Chamber of Commerce board of directors elected new officers for 2004 during a meeting Wednesday, Jan. 7. The new officers will help spearhead business and economic development opportunities, civic activities and public forums throughout the year.
The new positions became effective Jan. 7. The positions are annually rotated among Chamber of Commerce members.
The board of directors elected the following:
- Debbie Breuer, the branch manager of Community National Bank in Basehor, as president. She replaces Debbie Bonee.
- Gayle Runnels, the branch manager of Citizens Savings and Loan in Basehor, as vice president, replacing Breuer.
- Susan Adams, R and S Equipment, remains as treasurer.
- Rae Ann Scharenberg, Bradley Construction, as secretary, replacing Virginia Williams.
The Chamber of Commerce invites members and the public to meet the new officers during a chamber coffee from 7:30 to 9 a.m. Friday, Jan. 29 inside the main hall at the Basehor Town Square, 155th Street and Kansas Highway 24/40.
