Council to consider advisory board appointments

— The Lansing City Council is scheduled to take action on a series of appointments to city advisory boards when it meets this week.

The council, which meets at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at City Hall, 800 First Terrace, will consider reappointments to one board and reappointments and new appointments to another.

¢ The Lansing Tree Board recommends reappointment of John Hendrickson and Kevin Gardner to terms ending Dec. 31, 2007.

¢ The Lansing Parks and Recreation Board recommends reappointment of Tim King, Richard O'Donnell, Tina Orth, Brian Pettis and Richard Pitts to terms ending Dec. 31, 2006. The board also recommends appointment of Brian Kroll to a term ending Dec. 31, 2005.

¢ Consider minutes from the Nov. 18 meeting.

¢ Hear a presentation on the annual discretionary merit pay awards.

¢ Consider reappointments to the Tree Board.

¢ Consider reappointments to the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board.

¢ Consider an appointment to the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board.

¢ Consider renewal of a cereal malt beverage license for 7-Eleven Sales Corp., 501 N. Main St.

¢ Consider renewal of a cereal malt beverage license for Petro Deli No. 2, 601 S. Main St.

¢ Consider renewal of a cereal malt beverage license for Easy Goods, 506 N. Main St.

¢ Consider renewal of a cereal malt beverage license for Wood Oil No. 23, 109 4-H Road.

¢ Receive correspondence from Time Warner Cable.
