Grape set to battle for state championship

Buehler, Civils take fourth; Flynn brothers finish sixth

— The Class 5A wrestling state championship finals will begin at 6:30 p.m. tonight at the Kansas Coliseum.

Lansing High sophomore Kyle Grape will compete for the 140-pound championship as he will try to become Lansing's first state champion since 1997.

Four other Lions will join Grape on the medal stand tonight. Sophomore Kyle Buehler (125 pounds) and junior Ryan Civils (189) placed fourth in their weight classes. Freshman Nick Flynn (112) and junior Sean Flynn (130) both placed sixth.
