Clara ‘Marie’ Hattok

— Services for Clara "Marie" Hattok, 83, Leavenworth, will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Casimir Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

Mrs. Hattok died Friday, Feb. 25, 2005, at Colonial Manor of Lansing.

She was born Oct. 22, 1921, in Leavenworth, the daughter of Ira Robert and Sarah Lovina (Flint) Crook.

She was a member of St. Casimir Catholic Church. She worked for a brief time at Rice's Co.

She married Andrew Anthony Hattok on July 5, 1941, in Leavenworth. He died April 3, 2000.

Survivors include two sons, David A. Hattok and James E. Hattok, both of Leavenworth; a daughter, Joan M. McConnell, Basehor; a brother, Lawrence "Ed" Crook, Leavenworth; a sister, Bonnie K. Ebert, Topeka; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 Tuesday at the church.

The family suggests memorials to the church or Odyssey Hospice, sent in care of Belden-Sexton-Sumpter Funeral Chapel, 500 Oak St., Leavenworth 66048.
