Band fund-raisers postponed

Fund-raising for the Lansing High School band's trip to Dallas this year has been pushed back. The garage sale planned for Saturday has been postponed, and the spaghetti dinner scheduled for Jan. 14 may follow suit, said Booster President Sean Wooley.

Both fund-raisers were to be held in the high school commons and gymnasium area, which was flooded during the students' winter break.

Wooley said the boosters would hold a meeting Thursday evening to discuss when the events would be rescheduled.

Driver's ed sign-up

Sign-up for the winter/ spring driver education class is now open to high school sophomores, juniors and seniors.

Enrollment is limited to 16 students, who must pay the $100 class fee to Mrs. Driscoll to reserve a spot.
