Thomas E. Eisenring
Services for Thomas E. Eisenring, 52, Lansing, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Barnett-Larkin-Brown Funeral Home, Leavenworth.
Mr. Eisenring died Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2005, at Providence Medical Center, Kansas City, Kan.
He was born Dec. 30, 1952, in Leavenworth, the son of Stancy W. and S. Marie (Hensley) Eisenring.
Mr. Eisenring worked at the U.S. Disciplinary Barracks at Fort Leavenworth as a boiler plant operator for more than 26 years. He was a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War.
He attended St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, Lansing.
A music lover, he played in the Deja'Blue, Hunerd Proof and "Zap" Boogie bands.
He married Kerry A. Shelly on April 21, 2004, in Hawaii. She survives of the home.
Other survivors include a son, Aaron N., Leavenworth; a daughter, Laura L., Fort Drum, N.Y.; stepsons Hawden C. Wadsworth and Andrew S. Wadsworth, West Jordan, Utah; his father, Lansing; brothers George, Clearwater, Fla., and Richard, Leadville, Colo.; and three grandchildren.
Friends may call from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Friday. A visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
After the military honors, a celebration of Tom's life will continue at Chatterbox, 101 E. Carol, in Lansing.
The family suggests memorials to American Lung Cancer Association, sent in care of the funeral home, 707 S. Sixth St., Leavenworth.
