UMC to begin Bible school
Lansing children who are hungry for adventure may find it at Lansing United Methodist Church's "Serengeti Trek" Vacation Bible School.
Kirsten Moreland, codirector of the Bible school, said participants will embark on a pretend journey in the grasslands of Africa where they will become "wild about God."
The church's Bible school will include Bible stories, crafts, games, snacks and music. It is open to children ages 3-11 and will be held from 6 p.m. to 8:40 p.m. July 11-15.
The church is at 107 E. Kay St. Call 727-1044 for information or to preregister.
