KU names Lansing students to honor roll

More than a dozen students from Lansing or who attended Lansing High School have been named to the Spring 2005 honor roll at the University of Kansas.

The honor roll includes undergraduates who meet requirements in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and in the schools of allied health, architecture and urban design, business, education, engineering, fine arts, journalism, nursing and social welfare.

The students, their hometowns, majors and parents, where provided, are:

Katherine Lynn Black, Lansing, a senior in liberal arts, daughter of Joseph and Susan Black

Ryan Michael Blair, Lansing, a sophomore in liberal arts

Kayla Marie Buehler, Lansing, a sophomore in liberal arts, daughter of David and Lisa Buehler

Brandon Michael Froelich, Lansing, a sophomore in architecture and liberal arts, son of David Froelich

Karen Gayle Ganacias, Lansing, a senior in liberal arts, daughter of Adele R. and Elgee Ganacias

Lawrence Philip Henderson, Lansing, a junior in liberal arts, son of Terri Harris and Lawrence Henderson

Megan Elizabeth Lehnherr, a senior in engineering, daughter of Robert M. Lehnherr

Jerod Daniel Meagher, Lansing, a sophomore in liberal arts, son of Ron and Deanna Meagher

Katherine Ann Phillips, Lansing, a senior in education, daughter of Bruce and Laura Phillips

Stacy Nicole Schwind, Lansing, a sophomore in liberal arts, daughter of Michael and Tricia Schwind

Jacob Aaron Simanowitz, Lansing, a sophomore in architecture, son of Jo Anne Parker

Kori Chyrone Trussell, Lansing, a pharmacy major, son of Lynn and Fiona Trussell

Daniel Joseph Bristow, Leavenworth, a senior in liberal arts, son of Bernard Bristow

Christopher Sumner Drake, Leavenworth, a senior in liberal arts, son of David and Juliana Drake

Tiffany Dionne Jackson, Leavenworth, a senior in education, daughter of Ronnie and Pamela Jackson.
