Stuart D. and Judith S. Lyon, Lansing, announce the engagement of their daughter, Christina Cherie Lyon, to Taylor Scott Cline, son of Bruce and Sidney Cline of Fraiser, Calif.
The bride-to-be will graduate Aug. 10 from Brigham Young University, where her major is media arts studies. She has worked in the art department and the producers' unit on BYU productions and such feature films as "Pride and Prejudice," "Church Ball" and "Joseph." She currently is working for BYU Media Arts Productions. She also works as an assistant producer in the Audio Visual Department of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Past positions include; graphics technician for BYU Sports Broadcast-ing, and for Sports West, and teaching assistant in the BYU media arts department.
She is a graduate of Lansing High School and recently served as a missionary in South America in the Chile Concepcion Mission of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
The future groom is employed by Klune Industries, Provo, Utah. In the fall, he will continue his studies in chemistry at BYU, where he is a teaching assistant in the chemistry department. He has served for two years as a missionary for the LDS Church in the Santiago Chile Mission, South America.
The couple plan an Aug. 11 wedding at Mt.Timpanogos Temple, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, American Fork, Utah.
A local reception is planned for 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sept. 24 at Carroll Mansion, 1128 Fifth Ave., Leavenworth
