Spanish honor society inducts members

Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica, the Spanish Honor Society at Lansing High School, recognized 12 inductees at a ceremony Tuesday.

Lansing High School Spanish Honor Society inductees are: Jessica Bradford, Ben Crary, Elizabeth Cristiano, Kelsey Fallesen, Bianca Manago, Stephen Fischer, Geoffrey Fowles, Adam New, Amanda Radovich, David Kern, Abby Hauver and Caty Romero Torres. Current members were Kim Cavaleri, president; Jake Taylor, vice president; Christine Southard, secretary; Katie Adams, treasurer; Carolyn McKune; Micah White; Brent Huffman; and Katie Lowe. Radovich is not pictured.

The society inducted 11 new members who had met the standards of a 3.0 overall grade point average and an A average in Spanish classes for three consecutive semesters and who were currently enrolled in a Spanish class. The society also inducted Colombian exchange student Caty Romero Torres as an honorary member.
