Busy days ahead for seniors
Lansing Lansing High School seniors are finishing up their school year, and they have quite a few events to fill their final days:
¢ Today, Friday, senior finals.
¢ 8 p.m. today, seniors will be allowed to decorate the high school. Toilet paper is not allowed as a decoration.
¢ Friday, seniors' last day of school.
¢ 7:20 a.m. Wednesday, senior parade, optional. The parade will begin at Lansing Activity Center and end at the high school parking lot. Students who have approval to participate should arrive at the activity center between 6:45 a.m. and 6:55 a.m.
¢ 8 a.m. Wednesday, senior breakfast, optional, LHS commons.
¢ 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, mandatory commencement practice, LHS gym.
¢ 7 p.m. Wednesday, Baccalaureate ceremony, optional, LHS gym. Seniors should wear their caps and gowns.
¢ 7 p.m. May 19, Awards Night, optional, LHS gym. Seniors should wear their caps and gowns.
¢ 10 a.m. May 21, Commencement, Frank Graham Athletic Field, LHS. Students should wear their caps and gowns. In the event of inclement weather, commencement will take place at the same time in the high school gym. Students should report to the field at 9 a.m.
¢ 10 p.m. May 21 5 a.m. May 22, Operation Graduation, Harney Gym, Fort Leavenworth. Attendees must bring a photo ID to enter the fort and to check in to Operation Graduation.
