Mass of the Resurrection for Jocelyn June Runnebaum, 54, Lansing, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 28, at St Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 900 Ida. Burial will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
Mrs. Runnebaum died Wednesday, May 25, 2005, at her home.
She was born Oct. 23, 1950, in Leavenworth, the daughter of Norman and Alice (Wahaus) Highfill.
A lifelong resident of Leavenworth Count, she worked a couple of years for the Lansing school district and several years for Hallmark Cards. She was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church.
She married V. Leo Runnebaum on May 24, 1975, in Leavenworth. He survives at the home.
Other survivors include two daughters, Sara Lange, Lansing, and Amy Slaughter, Leavenworth: a stepson, Michael Runnebaum, Joplin, Mo.; a stepdaughter, Cheryl Shockley, Pineville, Mo.; two grandchildren; five step grandchildren; three brothers, Terry Highfill, Jon Highfill and Randy Highfill, all of Leavenworth; and a sister, Shelley Whalen, Middletown, Del.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. Friday, May 27, at R.L. Leintz Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday. A parish rosary will be recited at 7 p.m.
The family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society or the St. Francis de Sales Building Fund, sent in care of the funeral home, 4701 10th Ave., Leavenworth 66048.
