Homecoming activities continue

Homecoming activities continue through the weekend at Lansing High School.

Dress-up days continue at the school today, Thursday, with Favorite Sports Jersey Day; Friday will be Spirit Day.

On Friday, the LHS Booster Club will sponsor a tailgate barbeque from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Cost is $5 for a meal.

The Homecoming parade will begin at 5:30 p.m. Friday. The parade begins at Saint Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 900 Ida St., and ends at 6:10 p.m. in the LHS parking lot.

The Homecoming football game, LHS vs. Immaculata, is scheduled for 7 p.m. Friday at Frank Graham Field, Second Street and Lion Lane. Tickets for the game are $3 for students and $5 for nonstudents.

The Homecoming king and queen will be announced at halftime of the game.

The Homecoming dance will be from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday at LHS. Tickets for the dance are $8 in advance and $10 at the door.
