Lions egg hunt set for Saturday
A Lansing tradition hits its eighth year on Saturday when the Lions Club plays host to the Lansing Lions Easter Egg Hunt.
The hunt will take place starting promptly at 9 a.m. Saturday at Lansing Middle School athletic fields, 509 W. Ida St.
The hunt is open to any child in sixth grade or younger. Organizers say the children should bring their own basket as they hunt for more than 5,000 eggs containing candy and other surprises donated by the city of Lansing, Unified School District 469, the PRIDE Committee, Citizens National Bank, Nine Mile Masonic Lodge, Lansing Correctional Facility Wellness Committee and the Lions Club.
There will be a special area for toddlers to participate in the hunt.
