Obituary: Renee Ann Soetaert
Renee Ann Soetaert, 45, McLouth, died Friday, Dec. 1, 2006 at the Jefferson County Memorial Hospital, Winchester, Kan. Services were held Wednesday at the Tonganoxie Christian Church with burial at Fall Creek Cemetery, Jarbalo. Visitation was Tuesday at the Quisenberry Funeral Home, Tonganoxie. Mrs. Soetaert was born Sept. 22, 1961 in Kansas City, Kan., the daughter of Ronald and the Rev. Peachez (Ruiz) Joles. She was a 1979 graduate of Tonganoxie High School. She moved to McLouth in 1987 from the Tonganoxie area. She had worked for K-Mart Distribution Center in Lawrence for 23 years. She was currently a homemaker and co-owner of M&R Longhorns. She was a member of the Texas Longhorn Breeders Association and a member of the Jarbalo United Methodist Church. She was united in marriage on Aug. 28, 1982 in Tonganoxie to Mark Soetaert.
She is survived by her husband, Mark Soetaert, of the home; her parents, Ronald E. and the Rev. Peachez Joles, Leavenworth; her paternal grandmother, Esther Lee Grigsby, Kansas City, Kan.; her maternal grandfather, Marcelino Fernandez, Kansas City, Mo.; two sisters, Estee Willis; and Jenee Wilbanks, both of Tonganoxie; 10 nephews and eight nieces.
