Lucille M. Siddens

— Graveside services for Lucille M. Siddens, 87, Tonganoxie, will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 14, at Grandview Cemetery in Riley.

Mrs. Siddens died Saturday, Feb. 11, 2006, at St. John Hospital in Leavenworth.

She was born June 5, 1918, in Leonardville, the daughter of Charles and Cora Busher Scott.

She had worked as a cook for Champion's IGA in Tonganoxie and was a baby sitter.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church and the Rebekahs, both in Tonganoxie.

She married George Siddens on Nov. 7, 1936, in Salina. He died earlier.

A stepdaughter, Betty Richter, also died earlier.

Survivors include three daughters, Norma Moore, Lansing, Susanne Heien, Houston, and Vicky Burk, Lawrence; a brother, Charles Scott Jr., Oldsburg; two sisters, Pauline VanDerbur, Council Grove, and Lois Borg, Manhattan; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 13, at Quisenberry Funeral Home in Tonganoxie, where the family will meet friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today.

The family suggests memorials to the Riford Senior Center, sent in care of the funeral home, P.O. Box 993, Tonganoxie 66086.
