$26.7 million school bond vote set for November
School board unanimously backs plan
The Basehor-Linwood School Board voted, 7-0, Monday night to propose a $26.7 million bond issue in November.
The vote comes on the heels of last week's meeting of the District Advisory Council -- a group that meets periodically to discuss education issues with school administrators. By an overwhelming margin, the DAC supported proposing another bond issue.
The plan is similar to a $22.9 million question rejected by voters in Nov. 2005.
It would pay for: a new elementary school and renovations to each school in the district, except Basehor-Linwood High School.
