Lansing girls still ranked No. 9

Despite having its six-game winning streak snapped Friday night at Tonganoxie, the Lansing High girls basketball team retained its No. 9 state ranking in Class 5A when the new Kansas Basketball Coaches Association poll came out late Monday night.

St. Thomas Aquinas remains ranked No. 1 in 5A. Meanwhile, two teams in Lansing's substate - Paola and Shawnee Heights - also are ranked. Paola is No. 6 and Shawnee Heights is No. 7. For the full list, see below.

Meanwhile, the Tonganoxie girls jumped from No. 3 to No. 2 in the 4A poll after beating Lansing on Friday night.
