Bush to deliver Landon Lecture
President George W. Bush will visit Kansas State University next week to deliver a Landon Lecture.
Bush's lecture, the 142nd in the prestigious series, will begin at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 23, in Bramlage Coliseum.
"We are excited that President Bush is coming to K-State, and we owe a huge debt of gratitude to Sen. Pat Roberts for his assistance in getting President Bush to accept our invitation," said K-State President Jon Wefald.
Because of an anticipated exceptional demand for a limited number of seats, admission will be limited to K-State students, faculty and staff members, special invited guests, and a contingent of military service members from Fort Riley.
Bush's lecture can be heard live on the Web at www.k-state.edu/landon.
