Mass of Christian Burial for Lucille M. (Pellman) Mura Timmons, 90, Overland Park was Friday, May 26, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Leavenworth. Burial was in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Lansing.

Mrs Timmons died Wednesday, May 24, 2006, at Overland Park Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born July 13, 1915, in Leavenworth, the daughter of Henry "Fritz" and Anna (Burke) Pellman.

Mrs. Timmons attended the old Cathedral Schools and was a 1933 graduate of Immaculata High School. She worked for more than 34 years for Southwestern Bell, retiring in 1974 as manager of operator services.

She was a lifelong member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and was a member of the church's Altar Society. Other memberships included Telephone Pioneers of America, America Legion Auxiliary and American Business Women's Association.

She married A.J. Mura on July 25, 1935, in Leavenworth. He died in October 1971. She married Newton Timmons on Oct. 12, 1974, in Leavenworth. He died March 1, 2002.

Survivors include three sons, Robert Mura, Leavenworth, and John Mura and Edward Mura, both of Overland Park; a stepson, Jimmy Timmons, Leavenworth; a stepdaughter, Judy Hill, Olathe; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A stepson, Don Timmons, died earlier.

The family suggests memorials to the Monsignor Charles McGlinn Orphanage Fund, sent in care of Barnett-Larkin-Brown Funeral Home, 707 S. Sixth St., Leavenworth 66048.
