Barbara Ann Thomas
Mass of Christian Burial for Barbara Ann Thomas, 66, Lansing, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 11, at Saint Casimir Catholic Church, 719 Pennsylvania Ave., Leavenworth. Burial will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Lansing.
Mrs. Thomas died Wednesday, March 8, 2006, at Country Care on Broadway Nursing Home, Leavenworth, with her family by her side.
She was born Nov. 17, 1939, in Leavenworth, the daughter of Lewis "Louie" E. and Emogene V. (Klingler) McMillen.
Mrs. Thomas had worked for Wadsworth Credit Union, Armed Forces Bank, Bay State Milling Co. and Leavenworth Furniture Co. She attended Saint Joseph School and Immaculata High School before graduating from Leavenworth High School. She was a member of Saint Casimir Catholic Church and the Altar Society. She enjoyed cross-stitching, crossword puzzles and spending time with her family.
She married Gary L. Thomas on Dec. 21, 1963, in Pryor, Okla.
Survivors include her husband, Gary; a daughter, Julie Ann Fevurly, Baton Rouge, La.; a brother, Lewis E. McMillen Jr., Leavenworth; and two sisters, Jean M. Soligo, Gladstone, Mo., and Lois E. Seeler, Leavenworth.
Friends may call from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, March 10, at Barnett-Larkin-Brown Funeral Home.
