Memorial services for Michael R. "Mickey" Webb, 50, of Winfield, were Saturday, Nov. 4, at Church of the Nazarene in Winfield. Private inurnment will take place.

Mr. Webb died Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2006, at William Newton Hospital in Winfield.

He was born Jan. 4, 1956, in Ashland, the son of David and Ruthelma (Kuhns) Webb. He was raised and educated in Ashland and later Winfield. He graduated from Winfield High School in 1975 and later attended Mid-America Nazarene College in Olathe.

Mr. Webb was married Aug. 19, 1978, to Janice Riley. The couple later divorced.

He was employed as a police officer in Liberal and later worked as a correctional officer at Lansing Correctional Facility.

Mr. Webb was a member of Church of the Nazarene in Winfield. He had been involved in the Winfield Community Theater while in high school.

Survivors include a daughter, Kristen Webb, Leavenworth; his mother, Ruthelma, Winfield; three brothers, David, Des Moines, Iowa, Donald, Kansas City, Kan., and Rodger, Winfield; and his girlfriend, Janet Goodman.

The family suggests memorials to Church of the Nazarene in Winfield, sent in care of Miles Funeral Service, 4001 E. Ninth Ave., Winfield 67156.
