Kaw Valley Football Report: Week Five

It's a two-team race for the Kaw Valley League title. Tonganoxie and Perry-Lecompton - both of which tied with Lansing for the 2005 crown - are the league's only unbeatens at 5-0.

Mill Valley, which lost to Tongie two weeks ago, is holding down third place at 4-1. Meanwhile, Santa Fe Trail has dropped two straight and slid out of the race. On the other hand, Lansing has won its last two and now holds a spot in the top half of the league standings entering a Friday matchup with Mill Valley.
