Charles L. Lowe
Mass of Christian Burial for Charles L. Lowe, 64, of rural Easton, will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 6, at St. Joseph of the Valley Catholic Church, Easton. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
Mr. Lowe died Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2006.
He was born Feb. 12, 1942, in Kansas City, Kan., the son of Wilbur T. and Dolly M. (Riggs) Lowe.
Mr. Lowe had worked as an assistant pressman for Hallmark for more than 22 years. He was a member of the St. Joseph of the Valley Catholic Church and he enjoyed working on cars and owning Lowe's Auto Repair & Machine Shop for more than 40 years.
He married Joyce A. Brown on Nov. 25, 1961, in Easton. She survives of the home.
Other survivors include four sons Joseph C., Dry Ridge, Ky., and Michael R., William J., and George A.L., all of Easton; a daughter, Ann T. Kruse, Lawrence; two brothers O.W. and Larry, both of Jarbalo, a sister, Darlene Theel, Missouri; eight grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. today, Oct. 5, at Belden-Sexton-Sumpter Funeral Chapel, Leavenworth, where a rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today.
The family suggests memorials to the Huntington's Disease Society or the church, sent in care of the funeral home, 500 Oak St., Leavenworth 66048.
