Council to act on 2008 city budget
Members of the public have their last chance to voice concerns about the 2008 Lansing city budget at tonight's Lansing City Council meeting.
The council has scheduled a public hearing on the city's 2008 annual program of services for the meeting, which begins at 7 p.m. at City Hall, 800 First Terrace.
The budget to trim the mill levy, from last year's 34.575 mills to 34.217 mills.
A mill is $1 in taxes for every $1,000 in assessed valuation.
