Cynthia Marie Hermann and Daniel Thomas Sparks were married on April 14, 2007, at the First Baptist Church, Leavenworth. Dr. Randall A. Terrill officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Deborah and Robert W. Herman and Ronda DeMint, Leavenworth. She graduated from Leavenworth High School in 2004. She is employed as a call representative at Armed Forces Bank, Leavenworth.

The groom is the son of Ellen and Thomas Sparks, Lansing. He graduated from Leavenworth High School in 2003. He is employed as a service technician at Cates Heating and Air Conditioning, Lenexa.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Music was provided by organist, Jackie Miller.

Jessica Young, Leawood, cousin of the bride, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Linda Hermann, Leavenworth, sister-in-law of the bride, and Sarah Herman, Spring Hill, cousin of the bride. Flower girls were Morgan Trimpe and Jessica Humphrey, both of Leavenworth.

Erick Humphrey, Olathe, cousin of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Bill Walker, brother-in-law of the groom, and Creg Bates, both of Leavenworth.

Ushers were James Hermann and Christopher Hermann, Leavenworth, brothers of the bride, and Michael Young, Leawood and Derek Hermann, Spring Hill, cousins of the bride.

A luncheon, reception and dance was held at the Lansing Community Center. Music was provided by Mike Porter.

Following their honeymoon, the couple is living in Leavenworth.
