Thomas David Tompkins
Thomas David Tompkins, 52, Lone Jack, Mo., died August 7, 2007 at Lee's Summit Medical Center.
A graveside service was held Saturday, August 11, 2007 at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Weston, Mo.
Tompkins was born July 9, 1955 in Leavenworth to Frances May (Hall) and Verlin Glenn Tompkins. He married Gina Sue Morriss on July 1, 1982.
He was an antique restorer and dealer. He had a special talent for design and landscaping with massive limestone. He designed and built his family's home on their little farm near Lone Jack, Mo.
He was an accomplished musician and avid guitar player.
Tompkins is survived by his parents, Verlin and Frances Tompkins, Lansing; wife Gina Tompkins, Lone Jack, Mo.; daughter Amanda Tompkins, Olathe; son Mason Tompkins, Lone Jack, Mo.; brothers, Samuel Tompkins, Excelsior Springs, Mo., Philip Tompkins, Spring Hill, Eric Tompkins, Lansing; sister Dana Shopfner, Leavenworth.
He is loved and missed by his family and friends but now rests in his Savior's arms.
