Members of the Lansing High girls cross country team pose after competing at the Class 5A state championships. A varsity lineup of six sophomores and a freshman won the Kaw Valley League championship, placed third at regionals and 10th at state. Sophomore Lauren Jaqua, third from left, placed 16th in the girls' race. Meanwhile, three LHS boys competed at state, and sophomore Brandon Craig placed 15th.
