Substate positioning at stake tonight

The Lansing High boys and girls basketball teams don't have impressive records this season, but they have plenty at stake tonight when they travel to Tonganoxie for Kaw Valley League showdowns.

The LHS boys are 5-10 this season, but they currently are in the No. 4 position in the eight-team substate bracket. Meanwhile, the Lansing girls are 6-9 this year and in a three-way tie for fourth with Bonner Springs and Shawnee Heights. Here is a look at the substate positioning after 15 games.

BOYS
