Izetta G. Tucker

Services for Izetta G. Tucker, 80, of Leavenworth, will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 16, in the Belden-Sexton-Sumpter Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in the Leavenworth National Cemetery.

Mrs. Tucker died Monday, Feb. 5, 2007, at the Medicalodge Nursing Home in Leavenworth.

She was born April 7, 1926, in Humbolt, Neb., the daughter of James and Edna Gladys (Mahaffey) Wassom.

She was a homemaker.

On March 6, 1968, she married Charles Edward Tucker in Miami, Okla. He died Sept. 9, 1991.

A daughter, Marion Tousley, also preceded her in death.

Survivors include four daughters, Rosetta Phipps, Independence, Mo., Edna Tousley and Mary Allen, both of Leavenworth, and Lynn Paul, Tonganoxie; three sons, Mike Tousley, Lansing, Mark Tousley, Connecticut, and Kenneth Tousley, Kentucky; a brother, Dail Wassom, Dashler, Neb.; two sisters, Nalpallia Wilson, Topeka, and Doris Broadfoot, Glendale, Ariz.; 18 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 15, in the chapel.

The family suggests memorials to the Izetta Tucker Memorial Fund.
