Morningside leans on LHS grads
Two Lansing High graduates have played key roles in the Morningside College baseball team's recent hot streak.
Tom Kohl and Eric Delich, both juniors and 2004 LHS grads, have turned in impressive numbers while helping Morningside win 10 of its last 13 games and improve to 12-11.
Kohl, a junior center fielder, is batting .303 with 23 hits, 13 walks and 13 stolen bases.
Delich, a junior relief pitcher, has a 2-0 record with one save and a 0.84 earned run average. He has allowed only one run in eight relief appearances and has given up just 10 hits in 16 2/3 innings.
