Sally Fritschen, 1942-2007
Sally Sue Fritschen, 65, of Basehor, died Tuesday, Oct. 16th, 2007, at Shawnee Mission Medical Center in Merriam.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at Holy Angels Catholic Church in Basehor, with burial to follow in Holy Angels Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the church, where the rosary will be said 7:30 p.m. The family suggests memorial contributions to the Holy Angels Catholic Church.
Mrs. Fritschen was born June 10, 1942, in Junction City, Kan., and lived most of her adult life in the Basehor area. In the past she worked as a beautician and more recently had worked for Wal-Mart in Bonner Springs for more than 18 years as a personnel director, retiring due to illness in November of 2004. She was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church in Basehor,and most enjoyed being a grandmother.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Paul Fritschen of the home; two sons, Jim Fritschen, Austin, Texas; and John Fritschen, of Little Rock, Ark.; and a daughter, Paula Holden, of Platte City, Mo.; two brothers, Richard Shilts Belle Plain, Kan.; and Gary Shilts of Sault Ste. Marie, Mich.; and six grandchildren, Claire, Celia, Cole, Rachel, Lila and Lillian.
