Names in the news
¢ Katie L Adams, Lansing, a student in Baker's College of Arts and Sciences, received a bachelor's degree. Adams was named to the dean's list for maintaining a 3.5 grade-point average during the spring 2007 semester.
¢ Brian Pfannenstiel, Lansing, graduated from Baker University in Baldwin City in the spring of 2007.
¢ William Snider, Lansing, Crisco Telford, Lansing, and Edward Vedder, Fort Leavenworth, were all awarded a Master's of Science in Administration from Central Michigan Univeristy, which is in Mount Pleasant, Mich., in December 2006.
¢ Colette R Watkins, Lansing, graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting, management from Columbia College - Kansas City.
Watkins was named to the dean's list for the college's March 2007 session.
¢ Micah E. White, Lansing, was named to the Dean's Honor Roll at Creighton University for the spring semester of the 2006-2007 academic year.
¢ Angela DiSalvo, a 2003 graduate of Lansing High, recently graduated summa cum laude from Drake University.
DiSalvo, daughter of Diane DiSalvo Booth, Lansing, received several degrees including a Bachelor of Arts in English, a Bachelor of Arts in journalism and a Bachelor of Science in secondary education.
She is currently employed at the Des Moines Register, a newspaper in Des Moines, Iowa.
¢ Jacqueline Elizabeth Nichols, daughter of David Nichols, Lansing, and Sue Nichols, Harrisonville, Mo., has been accepted into the Alpha Delta Sigma National Honor Society.
Nichols, a 2007 graduate of Drury University in Springfield, Mo., was invited into the honor society based on her academic achievements in advertising studies.
