Letter: A tremendous success
To the Editor:
On behalf of the Basehor-Linwood Education Foundation, I would like to thank all of the sponsors, participants and volunteers that made the Fourth Annual Education Foundation Golf Tournament at Falcon Lakes Golf Course a tremendous success on Oct. 19. I would also like to praise the efforts of David Howard and Kaci Brutto, who both went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure our fund raiser was a huge success.
Thanks must also go out to the following: Melanie Morris and her staff from First State Bank & Trust for handling our registration table; Lori Van Fleet for coordinating our putting contest; Tim Hill for taking care of our betting hole; the staff of Heartland Dental for providing refreshments for our golfers; and Mike Langstradt and his staff at Falcon Lakes.
Thank you to all the sponsors that donated prizes, cash donations and hole sponsorships. Your efforts helped raise almost $8,500 that will go towards providing student scholarships and teacher grants in USD 458. We appreciate your continued support.
