Nancy Patricia Starman
Services for Nancy Patricia Starman, 41, of Lansing, will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, at Wallula Christian Church with viewing beginning at 11 a.m. at the church prior to the service. Cremation will follow with private inurnment at Mount Muncie Cemetery.
There will be a reception after the service.
Mrs. Starman died at her home Saturday, Sept. 22, 2007, as a result of breast cancer, which she had fought for two years.
She was born Sept. 30, 1965, in Brunswick, N.J., the daughter of Norman and Clare (Sullivan) Wollmann. She graduated from East Brunswick High School and attended Kansas City Kansas Community College.
Nancy worked at Wallula Christian School in Lansing, where her three youngest children attended. She was active in school affairs and was a proud parent at school activities.
In June of 1988 she married Neil Starman in San Diego; he survives of the home.
Other survivors include her children, Celia, Carla, Caitllin, Nate and Noah, all of the home; her mother and stepfather, Clare and Edward Hanson of Rio Rancho, N.M.; her sisters, Margaret Brocklander, Laura Fowlston, Mary and Donna Wollmann; her brothers, Thomas, Richard, James, Norman and Michael Wollmann.
The family suggests memorials to the Breast Cancer Society or Wallula Christian Church. An educational fund has been established for her minor children at First National Bank, 630 Delaware St., Leavenworth. 66048.
