Icy conditions lead to school cancellations
• The Oskaloosa School District canceled all of their Friday classes.
• Tonganoxie Superintendent Richard Erickson said that all Friday classes for the Tonganoxie School District district would be canceled because of poor road conditions.
• Basehor-Linwood canceled all Friday classes because of icy conditions. A building and grounds supervisor said Thursday night that district leaders elected to cancel all Friday classes at Basehor-Linwood schools because of the area road conditions.

“Actually, we’ve spent more time outside lately working hardcore on our backyard doing some major landscaping. Lots of water breaks helped us through it. Since being outside so much, the warm weather doesn’t phase me anymore.”
